SCHEDULE
The BMC typically has two seasons during the year during which new members are always welcome:

Classical Choral (late Aug through Dec)
Secular and non-secular favorites!
Contemporary Choral (late Jan to end of June)
Pop to Pride, Billboard hits and Broadway's best

​Rehearsals for the upcoming season are from
7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Mondays.
(Please arrive 15 min. early;
Extra practice may keep some singers until 9:30)
​
New members are welcome to join during the first 2-3 weeks of each season.

LOCATION
The BMC holds rehearsal at 7:00 pm on
Mondays at:

Saint Mark's Lutheran Church
1900 St. Paul Street,
Baltimore, MD 21218

Free parking is almost always available across the street, north, in the church's lot (enter on 20th St.).

DUES
As we are a non-profit organization consisting of volunteer members, in order to cover administrative expenses such as our director/accompanist, music purchases, etc., we ask members to contribute a small amount of dues per week of rehearsal (payable weekly or in advance). Semester dues are based on the length of the semester and are announced early in the season.
Dues are not meant to deter membership - we care more to have your voices and personalities than your money - alternate arrangements may be made with the treasurer privately on an as-needed basis.
AUDITIONS AND PARTICIPATION
While we do not have formal auditions to join the BMC, as needed, or if requested, the musical director will take singer(s) aside to assess vocal ranges (to place you in the appropriate section of the chorus - Tenor 1, Tenor 2, Baritone, or Bass). We represent a broad range of musical ability and training.

We understand that our members have busy lives and commitments, but we feel attendance is very important. As such, all members are expected to attend at least 80% of rehearsals.
